this depends on you and your food preferences. There is no "best diet" for everybody. For an overview check my longterm weight loss programs section.
What I can recommend is using the cabbage soup or any other vegetable soup as a starter before your meals. This makes you feel more satieted sooner and you will eat altogether less.
In the long run this strategy sheds pounds too.
