Vegetable Shish Kabob on cabbage soup diet

by Willie
(Morristown, NJ)

I'm on the 4th day of the cabbage soup diet (banana's and milk). My hardest day was the 2nd day(all Vegetables) - but I made it through once I got past breakfast!

Would it be ok to use egg whites with the veggies so as to have an Egg White Vegetable Omelette-it adds a little protein?

For lunch I enjoyed roasted Vegetable & Potato Shish kabob,w/ little chili seasoning-it was great!

Also for today-could I add a low-cal protein mix in a blender with my banana and skimmed milk before my work out?

Hi Willie,
an egg-white vegetable omelette is a great idea to add some protein to this diet.

The roasted Vegetable & Potato Shish Kabob is also fine - but - potatoes are only allowed on day 2 in the evening. But you may have instead vegetable shish kabob on all of your veggie days and meat/vegetable shish kabob on day 5 and 6.

On your banana day a protein mix in a blender with a banana and skimmed milk before your work out is perfect!

All the best,
Gabriela
