Tabasco on cabbage soup diets
I am on day three of the cabbage soup diet and just now realized that I have been putting way more tabasco in my bowl of soup than I was supposed to. Have I ruined my diet?
Tabasco is a hot sauce consisting of mashed, aged hot red peppers (tabasco peppers), combined with salt and vinegar.
Although it is said that Tabasco Sauce and Cayenne pepper can increase metabolism and fat-burning ability by up to 25%, you should watch your salt intake.
For best results don't use more than 1 tablespoon tabasco sauce per cabbage soup diet day - not per soup bowl! Otherwise the high salt content my cause your body to retain water. That again leads to more weight instead of less.
If you stick to this rule for the remaining 4 cabbage soup diet days I'm sure you will still see an impressive weight loss.
All the best,
Gabriela
