Stir-fried and fried veggies

Can i have little fried veggies ?

Yes, you may fry them in a coated pan with 1 teaspoon olive oil.
But don't use more than 1 tablespoon of olive oil per day.

Alternately use a wok for your veggies, but then you should use e.g. sunflower oil.

All the best,
Gabriela

saute vegetables?

by Junia
(Medan,north sumatra,indonesia)

On the day 2 diet plan, it's vegetable day.
Is it okay to stir/saute the vege using olive oil?
Personally i dont like to eat vege so i find out really hard to eat it raw.

Hi Junia,
yes you may saute the veggies if you prefer on day 2. We recommend preparing the vegetables in a wok or a non-stick frying pan with 1 teaspoon olive oil. Make sure to use not more than 1 tablespoon olive oil per day.

Cabbage soup (veggie meals)

by Julie
(Colorado)

Hi,

Day 1 of the ol' Cabbage Diet. I'm really looking forward to veggies tomorrow! I want to know if I'm allowed to use any no-fat cooking spray on the veggies (same as used in the soup). Someone in another forum recommended making these squash patties, but it involves cooking them on a stove, with the spray. Also-salt? What's the limit outside of the soup. Coffee? On the skim milk day can I have it with black coffee? And Vinigar? A1 Sauce? I was told vinigar was okay. If so, what's so "detox" about it. So confused. . . :)

Hi Julie,
there are some allowed cheats - check them up here:

And here is our opinion on pam spray.
