spaghetti squash

I am on day 2 of my first cabbage diet. I am thinking of having spaghetti squash for lunch, but it is a starchy vegetable. Do you think I should avoid it for maximun weight loss?
Go ahead and use spaghetti squash for lunch. It contains many nutrients including potassium, folic acid, vitamin A and beta carotene. It is also a vegetable low in calories and fat, averaging 100 calories in 10 cooked ounces.
But you have to prepare it without the beloved butter or oil for maximum weight loss - use instead some parmesan cheese.
