Snacks for fruit or vegetable days

Suggestions needed for quick treats/snacks on fruit days or vegetable days. Are raisins allowed as a fruit? What about freeze-dried fruit, such as apples or strawberries?

Also, I had a hard time on day 2, could not think of any vegetable that would satisfy my craving for a snack. Any suggestions would be appreciated.


Hi!
Day 2 is the hardest! Your brain lacks sugar that's why nibbling carrots could be a great help.

Raisins or freeze-dried fruits on the fruit days are not allowed.

Kale Snack for Vegetable day

A great snack is to buy some kale and spray it with cooking spray and sprinkle a little sherry vinegar on it and some sea salt. Bake in oven at 300 F for 35-40 minutes until it is crunchy. Tastes like popcorn! Super Healthy and good even after the Diet.

No dried fruits?

Hi - I heard from another forum that you could have freeze dried fruits. Is that not correct?

I've been eating the unsulfered and unsweetened Apple Rings from Trader Joes. I guess I basically should start all over (on day 3)


Hi,
don't eat the dried apple rings while on cabbage soup diet! You'll risk to get very hungry. But they are an excellent snack after the diet week.
