skip banana day

Can I just skip the banana and milk day entirely and eat soup and veggies instead or repeat day 3 with veggies and fruit. I dont see how this would be any worse, in fact only better since bananas are high in calories. Not a big fan of bananas or milk.
Also - wondering why you cannot eat veggies on day one and four along with soup considering veggies are in the soup anyway (providing to stick to the same veggies that are in the soup or similar).
Hi Jen,
your questions are very understandable.
The special order of the cabbage soup diet days makes sense, regarding the desire for "sweets" in your body. If you skip days or make your own plan, keep in mind, that this will make it harder to stick to the whole diet week. There are days when your insuline level is low and the desire for sweets is very high. This fact is balanced out e.g. with the banana diet day.
Of course you will have an impressive weight loss too if you repeat day 3 with veggies and fruit instead.
But the lack in carbohydrates will make it harder sticking to the whole diet week.
Regarding day one: Of course you may have all your vegetables in your soup. But to make it easier to adapt your body to this diet it is recommended to eat plenty of fruit on this day.
Again, additional vegetables won't harm you regarding weight loss but it won't help you neither if you have a desire for sweets. Fruits however can balance out a low insuline level.
All the best,
Gabriela
