rice milk instead soy milk?

Can I use rice milk instead soy milk? I am allergic to soy products and I have lactose intolerance. What can I use then?

I'm not allowed to give you here any medical consultation. But from the diet stand point rice milk is better than no milk!
As a kind of "rice grain" milk it is mostly made from brown rice. Make sure to choose the unsweetened version.
Rice milk contains compared to cow's milk more carbohydrates, but on the other hand it does not contain significant amounts of protein or calcium, and no cholesterol or lactose.
Especially Protein and Calcium is very important for the cabbage soup diet week - maybe it's a good idea to make yourself a protein shake in addition based on protein you can tolerate.
