Can I snack on pumpkin seeds throughout the week?

Pumpkin Seeds or Sunflower Seeds have several great advantages: The first one, it takes a long while to consume them. Second, they're very healthy - packed with zinc, iron, potassium, folate and dietary fiber. And last but not least they taste very delicious! So the question is could you integrate them in your cabbage soup diet week?

It depends. Seeds have one weakness for a diet week. The fat content is high, and although most of the fat is the healthy unsaturated one, it is fat which adds up to your daily fat consumption. To achieve a maximum weight loss effect we recommend the following for your cabbage soup diet week:
Purchase Pumpkin Seeds or Sunflower Seeds only unsalted and unshelled. Measure out 1 tablespoon per day (flat!) and stick to it.
Chew it slowly when hunger occurs or drop it over your cabbage soup for variation. You'll find that it takes a very long while to eat such a serving of seeds.
