Protein powder questions
by Theresa
(Scottsdale)
Can I have tofu in my veggie stir fry on veggie day? How about sweet potatos, beets, and other types of root veggies?
Also, is the soy protein shake a shake powder or plain protein powder? Vanilla or no flavor? Do you use this same protein powder mix in the fat burner drink? And, I have no idea what cold whey drink is. Can you explain what that is?
Thanks for all your info!
Kind regards,
Theresa
Hi Theresa,
on the veggie day no tofu is allowed but you may have it on your meat days instead of meat/fish.
Root Vegetables like carrots, daikon, parsnip, black salsify, beet root, horseradish, burdock ...are allowed while on cabbage soup diet.
Sweet Potatoes you may only have on the second day in the evenenig instead of your baked potatoe.
Your protein powder question:
In earlier times we recommended to use only the
plain protein powder. In 2009 we have tested the cabbage soup diet also based on shakes with Vanilla protein powder and have come to the same impressive weight loss results.
Yes, we mixed it also in the fat burner drink.
Find here more informations: protein shakes.
Whey is also called milk plasma - it is the liquid that remains after milk has been curdled and strained. In Germany you get it in every dairy department, called "Molke". If you don't get it in your area you may use also low fat/fat free milk or buttermilk.
Dear Therea,
your questions are very welcome!
All the best,
Gabriela
