Can I use a vanilla whey protein powder and add almond milk to it?
Also, can I add fruit to my protein shakes on days one and three since i can eat fruit on those days?

almond milk is great! The best protein powder is fat free and has zero carbs. You may try it with vanilla whey protein but please be aware of the fact that the sweetness might trigger your hunger cravings.
Fruits in the shake on day 1 and 3 are allowed and are a welcome variation.
