Potatoes in Cabbage Soup?

I have been making the cabbage soup and am wondering if i can put in potatoes into the soup? would that add more points?

Hi,
no, potatoes have a high glycemic index and are not allowed for the cabbage soup. The only day when potatoes are allowed is day 2 for dinner.
