no split peas on the cabbage soup diet

Hi,
I've been doing a lot of reading on your wonderful site. Just wanted to know what nutritional/fat value dried split peas is, if I add it to the soup. Will it still have the same effect? Thanks

I regret but no pulses like beans, peas or lentils are allowed while on the cabbage soup diet.
