milk substitute for cabbage soup diet

by PK
(California)

I don't drink milk... I've never liked it, and it doesn't like me much (lactose intolerance). So, on the milk and banana day, I made baked custard with skim milk. (Baked custard recipe is 2 cups milk, 2 eggs, 1/4c sugar and 1/2 tsp vanilla.)
Is this a bad cheat or a good cheat?

Hi PK,
there are much safer cheats...
Sugar is not an ingredient for the cabbage soup diet at all, it can cause strong hunger feelings.
Eggs are only a meat substitute and not approriate for the banana diet day.

Your Lactose Intolerance is a medical question -I'm not allowed to give you here any advice - please ask your doctor.
Generally spoken you might substitute the milk with soy milk.

All the best,
Gabriela
