MORE THAN 7 DAYS WHY NOT!

I am about to do the cabbage soup diet but disappointed that it’s only recommend for 7 days due to lack of protein intake. However many people have atrocious diets. So it’s probably more nationally balanced than some people daily diets.

Acid in the soup a problem for me

I really enjoyed the cabbage soup with the stewed tomato broth, but I am afraid a whole week of it weakened the lining in my stomach. I now can't eat oranges or other high acid foods without taking a Rolaid or Tums. Even spaghetti sauce and strawberries are now a problem.

Dear Ana,
please don't do the cabbage soup diet every week.
The better option is to stop after 7 days and switch to a healthier lifestyle. You can repeat the diet after several weeks. But your planned emergecy weight loss is not healthy at all - you risk to ruin your health!!!

The healthier option after the 7 day csd: Eat the cabbage soup as a starter before your meals. This is very effective and you will lose even more pounds in the long run.
