Your problem probably lies in the fact that you are taking literally what is said by eat as much skim milk as you want etc etc.
I am a man 80kg and lost 30kg's in 26 weeks 110kgs to 80kgs.
How did I do it. No added sugar and no fatty foods or oil added. I ate lean meat twice a week, as much vegetable as I wanted accept no potato, excercise 5 times per week for 45 plus mins each time and a couple of peaces of fruit per day. Oh I had one bottle of wine per week as well otherwise no alcohol.
I think it is along the lines of the pretican diet.
Now the second point the first 5 came off a lot faster than the last 5 even though I was doing the same thing, if you are already in pretty good shape it may take a long time to lose the weight and indeed you may need a truck load of excersise not diet.
Note that this diet is given to severely overweight people who need to lose weight for operations and probably have very bad eating habits to start with.
