No, you can't have any peanuts or other nuts while on cabbage soup diet. With its high fat content you would risk a limited weight loss.

Day 2 and not even hungry why?

Hi,

I started on my diet soup yesterday and i feel so full even today, I only had my soup around 10am and have been drinking water ever since.. is it normal not to feel hungry while etaing the soup?? and can I have as much soup as I want or only a little??

Dear Anne,
this is the way it should be - the warm cabbage soup gives the most of us a "satieted feeling". Not everybody reacts however in the same way...You may have as much cabbage soup as you like but please don't skip the other foods and stick to your 7 day cabbage soup diet plan.

cheating on the vegetables day

I'm only on day two and having a hard time sticking with it....i ate some brown rice shushi and a granola bar do i have to start the whole diet over ? It was a 90 calorie granola bar ......and some brown rice need some imput please

Hi the problem is not the rice but the granola bar that will give you a hard time sticking to the whole diet week. The sugar/chococlate influences your insuline level in a bad way.
That might cause hunger cravings.

In case you can manage your remaining days without unallowed cheating you would still see an impressive weight loss. But if you know/feel already that your chocolate/sugar cravings are overwhelming, then it would be better to stop the cabbage soup diet know and try it some days/weeks later again.

veggie burgers on vegetabels day

Can you eat veggie burgers on the diet?

It depends on the ingredients of the veggie burgers. Most of them have added artificial seasonings and are high in sodium and fat. In that case we don't recommend them.

If they contain only pure vegetables and a very limited amount of other ingredients then you might try them on the so called "vegetable days".
In that case, please let us know, which brand you have chosen and how they worked for you.

I drank a cup of milk and orange juice on the vegetabel day

Do we have to drink only water or tea on the days that doesn't say to drink a specific drink or can we have milk/juice? and should I stop the diet if i drank milk and orange juice on day 2 or can i keep going? :(

Hi,
yes, it is best to drink only tea and water on the cabbage soup diet.

Low fat milk is ok in limited quantities to add protein to your diet, if you use the improved 7 day cabbage soup diet plan with allowed milk.

Orange juice is only an option as pressed fruit from e.g. 100% oranges (self made) on the so called "fruit days". But it is better to eat the whole fruit as the fruit fiber helps with satiation. Juice (without fiber) however tends to make you hungry.

Stick from now on exactly to the diet plan and you will see an impressive weight loss too.

Hi Dee,
no butter please!
But you may have as healthy cheat 1 tablespoon olive oil per day - we recommend the "extra vergil". It's up to you, if you use it for the veggies or in the soup.

And yes, you may have the fat burning shake on the same day too.

a little fruit on day 2

I am on my second day of the diet and accidentally ate some grapes for breakfast. I forgot it was all vegetable day. Did I sabatoge that diet and do I need to stay on it an extra day for it to work?

Dear Tamieka,
you did not screw it up! There are much harder cheats. Just continue and stick from now on closely to the cabbage soup diet plan. Please be aware of the fact that the fruit sugar in grapes might make it harder for you regarding sugar cravings. In that case please nibble some carrots.
