Instead of beef can I eat chicken?

Hey, I'm going to start my diet from tomorrow. I never ate any kind of beef till now. Well I want to ask if I can eat chicken instead of beef ? Is that ok witn my diet?

yes, you can have chicken instead of beef. You could consider also other poultry, fish or even tofu as substitute on the meat days 5+6.

what is 20 ounces of chicken?

please answer me back soon tomorrow is my day 5 and i wanted to know .. for lunch on day 5 and 6 can i have some tuna fish (how much) and for supper chicken (how much).. please answer back soon.

... i don't know how much ounces of chicken is so if you can be specific with how many leg-thigh pieces of chicken i can have for supper on each day and how much tuna for lunch on each day.. thankyou!!!!!!

Hi Monique,

20 ounces of chicken are equivalent to 600 grams or 2 leg-thighs.
Don't eat more than 300 - 600 grams of allowed meat on each of the "meat days".

If you ate 2 leg-thighs for lunch, you should eat not more than 100 grams tuna for supper - for best results.

Can you have meat like grilled chicken on this diet?

Yes, you may have grilled chicken on day 5 and 6 of the cabbage soup diet. But you have to remove the fatty skin otherwise your fat intake may reduce your motivating weight loss effect within the diet week.

canned chicken

hi, i was wondering if Im allowed on days 5 & 6 to eat canned chicken in replacement of cooking one. im tight on money so that would help. but is that allowed? like even if i rinsed it off? thanks.

I regret but I don't know canned chicken.
Check the ingredients. If it is similar to tuna fish in cans without fat/oil then it might be ok.
If it contains fat you sould not eat it on the cabbage soup diet week.
Also you should make sure that it has not a too high salt content.
