Brown Rice Quantity

by Carla

On the 7th day, it doesn't state how much brown rice you're allowed to eat. Does this mean an unlimited amount?

Thank you,
Carla

Hi Carla,
this is a really good question! ...And you see me speachless. The most cabbage soup diet plans I know, don't specify any rice quantities.

On the other hand, brown rice is very stuffing and
it's difficult to overeat - especially in combination with sufficient cabbage soup.

My personal estimation would be, to use not more than 100 g uncooked rice - this is equivalent to 200 g cooked rice. For the recipe on the rice diet page you need e.g. 80 g rice.

I'm sure that there are dieters who ate more than 200 g cooked rice and still had a great weight loss effect...It depends on the individual too.

All the best,
Gabriela
