help on day 4

Is it ok to have other fruits on day 4? Or can you only eat bananas and skim milk? I'm on day 2 and it's going ok. I really would like to know if I can have other friuts on the banana day.

no other fruits than bananas are allowed on the banana day. But you may have cabbage soup as much as you want;-)

Business Lunch on Banana Day

I have business meeting with a client where we have to go out to dinner. My question: Is there anything i can order to somehow not lose everything that i have done so far. BY the way it's the banana day... help

Hi,
all other days would be much easier...

Strategy 1:
If you havn't started your banana diet day yet I recommend to switch day 4 with day 5 or 6.
To order a big steak with tomatoes or steamed vegetables in a restaurant is much easier. And your client won't even guess that you are dieting...

Strategy 2:
In case you have already started your banana diet day try to order a clear vegetable soup (instead of cabbage soup) and have a salad with eg. chicken/turkey afterwards. You can also skip the soup and have only salad.

Make sure to order the dressing (usually high in fat) separately and sprinkle only some drops of it over your salad. For the remaining day try to continue the banana diet: have cabbage soup + 2-3 bananas in the evening to avoid hunger attacks.

With either strategy 1 or 2 you should be fine and see an impressive weight loss effect too.

By the way, a lean salad with chicken is what I'm eating very often when I'm out for lunch and don't want to risk gaining weight. Even Mc Donalds is offering this kind of healthy salad option...

Can I eat anything else on top of bananas and milk?

Yes! You should eat at least 3-4 bowls cabbage soup.

You may mix the bananas also to a delicious banana shake and add some protein powder.

banana day question

Hi,
my query is that today is the 4th day and i have lost only one and a half kg inspite of strict control.

I'm a little worried because I wanna loose more plus I am exercising daily for at least half an hour too. One more question that on the veggie day, can we half yogurt with coriander. thanx.

3 pounds in 3 days is not bad! The best however is to forget about weight loss now and weigh yourself only the day after the 7 day cabbage soup diet.

Please stick to your exercises - this is great!
By the way you may have 1 cup of low fat yoghurt per day - even with coriander! Yoghurt is a healthy protein source.

Watch your sodium intake in your cabbage soup to avoid that your body retains water.

day 4 question? are fruits/veggies allowed?

Hi I am on day 4, and it doesn't clarify if any other fruits besides banana are allowed? I hope they are because I made a blueberry-banana smoothie with fat free plain yogurt and soymilk this morning! Also are fruits allowed on days 5,6,or 7? Please let me know ASAP! Thanks a lot!

no! On day 4 the only fruits allowed are bananas.
But your blueberry-banana smoothie sounds delicious and shouldn't harm your weight loss success...
Day 5 + 6 no fruits, only on day 7 again you may have fruits besides of the veggies.

No! The only thing you my have besides of your banana and dairy on day 4 - the banana day -, are the vegetables in your cabbage soup.

Cheating for a meal on banana / milk day

I just started the diet this morning & got a call about last minute planning for a family birthday. It includes lunch out at a restaurant. If I have to cheat a meal on banana / milk day, what would be best to eat?

Dear Abbie,

if you would have to cheat a meal on a banana day the best choice would be to have a low fat vegetable soup - as it comes very close to our cabbage soup. The second best choice would be a big salad plate with a light dressing that is served to you seperately. If all this doesn't work the best would be to switch day 4 and day 5. You could then order at least a big steak with tomato salad. But you should know that switching days might cause you higher hunger pains than when you stay withing the exact 7 day diet plan.

Fat Free Reddi Whip with bananas?

I'm on day 4. Bananas and milk. Love them both so I'm fine but I did have to do the family food shopping today and found a canister of fatfree reddi whip. 5 calories per serving (200cals for whole canister), 2g of sugar per servings, 0g fat, 0 everything else basically. Better numbers than non-fat milk. I want to slice banana and add it but just want to make sure this is ok? I can't find an answer on google or anything.

Hi Kylie,
I don't know this product. Sugar and artificial ingredients you should omit on the csd. If you think the product is very natural and doesn't trigger your sugar cravings then check it otherwise I would stay away from it.

Cheese on Day 4

We have successfully tried this diet now on it for the 4th time, it's a great kick start.

I'm sure I have read some where you can have a limited amount of cheese on day 4 - this allowed

Dear Laura,
you can have curd cheese (low fat) instead of
low fat milk or yoghurt on day 4 together with the bananas. Otherwise 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese is an allowed cheat everyday.

blood sugar spike on banana day

I have a tendency to a low blood sugar - the banana day can cause havoc with blood sugar as skim milk and bananas have such a high GI. This can create big spikes and then big dips which lead to dizziness/ faintness. Can I add protein to this day and still see results?
